Marijn Barbier is a barber from Aarschot, who – after some years of working as a barber at Old Rules – is opening his own shop in Aarschot full time in the summer of 2020.
Using a badger for the logo was a specific request, since traditionally shaving brushes are made from the hair of badgers. Besides that, he also wanted it to have a ’speakeasy’ feel, so I came up with a modernized Art Deco inspired design, with different variations for different uses.
The business cards (top) were printed using a combination of copper foil and black foil on black paper, finished with copper foil on the edge. The stickers (upper left) were digitally printed on brushed aluminum.
I also designed his Wordpress website:
www.marijnbarbier.be.
